Jessica Wertz and her sister Amanda Wertz McClellan formed “Spirit Vessel” which is all about restoring the use of intimate ceremony around death.
Jessica is a ceramic artist. At one level, Spirit Vessel is about the creation of ceramic vessels (urns) as containers to honor the passing of loved ones. In addition to the Spirit Vessels, Jessica and her sister have created custom ceremonies to accompany the unique works of art.
However, Spirit Vessel is much more than that. In this podcast, we delve into issues surrounding holding space, what ritual and containers mean on a spiritual level, and a host of other goodies.
We hope you enjoy!
